Julie Strange, Founder

Our company was founded by Julie Strange, a seasoned professional with nearly a decade of experience in serving seniors and their families across various levels of care, including independent living, assisted/enhanced living, and memory care placement. Julie’s extensive background as a Senior Director of Admissions for a senior living healthcare company fueled her ambition to take on a more impactful role in delivering personalized services to improve the lives of those seeking care placement.

Recognizing the growing needs of the senior population and the lack of adequate resources, Julie identified a common trend where families often only sought care outside the home in times of crisis, leading to decisions made in haste rather than with careful consideration. In response, Strange Senior Placement Solutions was established to provide comprehensive support services for families navigating the transition of their loved ones from home to Independent Living, Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

Setting itself apart from other placement companies, Strange Senior Placement Solutions is deeply engaged and actively involved throughout the entire process, from the initial stages to the actual placement and beyond. Our commitment to professionalism, trust, capability, and motivation ensures that families receive the support they need during this critical phase of life.

Laura Weston, RN

Laura Weston, RN, brings over 42 years of nursing experience with a strong focus on chemical dependence and geriatric care. After a rewarding career as an RN case manager at a continuum of care facility, Laura recently retired but continued her passion for senior care by joining Strange Senior Placement Solutions. In her new role, she is responsible for PRI (Patient Review Instrument) screening, using her extensive industry experience to assess individuals’ care needs. To further enhance her expertise, Laura earned the New York State certification required to perform hospital and patient reviews, ensuring that each individual receives the appropriate level of care. Her compassionate approach and depth of knowledge make her a valuable asset to the team and the families she serves.
